Rome and The Vatican City Walk
The Rome and The Vatican City Walk takes you to classical Rome locations and to Vatican City for some incredible venues in that small state.
Even in ancient times, Rome was known as The Eternal City. This was because the people felt that no matter what happened in the world, Rome would go on forever.
This path highlights some of the classical sights of Rome, including the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Castel Sant’Angelo. While the Vatican section offers St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums, including the famous Sistine Chapel.
This is one of two paths of Rome we have published (the other is Ancient Rome).
Walk Distance approximately 10.3 km/ 6.4 miles on a mostly flat path.
