Explore Italy and the Vatican with seven Urban Footprints City Walks that offer a captivating journey through the rich history and vibrant culture of these countries. Discover iconic locations in the Vatican, Ancient Rome, Florence, Genoa, Naples, Trieste and Verona.

Each guide takes you to between 16 and 20 of the most iconic locations of each city. There are more than 160 pages and 140 photos, all taken by TravelKiwis as we explored these cities.

We provide a link to Google Maps, allowing you to see your location in relation to the walking path and each location.

Rome and The Vatican City Walk

The Rome and The Vatican City Walk takes you to classical Rome locations and to Vatican City for some incredible venues in that small state.

Even in ancient times, Rome was known as The Eternal City. This was because the people felt that no matter what happened in the world, Rome would go on forever.

This path highlights some of the classical sights of Rome, including the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Castel Sant’Angelo. While the Vatican section offers St Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican Museums, including the famous Sistine Chapel.

This is one of two paths of Rome we have published (the other is Ancient Rome).
