Prague Old Town City Walk

A view down Charles Bridge with towers in the sunshine

The Prague Old Town City Walk leads you into a storybook skyline of spires, towers, and domes. At its heart sits the Old Town, a maze of cobbled streets shaped by trade, power, and rebellion. This is where time slows and centuries of history reveal themselves at every turn.

Old Town Square forms the natural hub, framed by pastel façades and Týn Church’s dramatic twin spires. The Astronomical Clock still draws crowds, much as it did in medieval times. Climb the Old Town Hall tower for views over streets once filled with markets and royal processions.

Nearby, the Jewish Quarter offers a moving insight into Prague’s Jewish heritage. Charles Bridge stretches across the river, lined with statues and unforgettable views. The Rudolfinum adds 19th-century grandeur, still alive with music today.

Walk Distance approximately 3.5 km / 2.2 miles with only small inclines.

The west side of the river, including Prague Castle, is available by purchasing our other walk – Prague Castle District City Walk.
